John 18:6-8

⁶ When Jesus^[a] told them, “I AM,” they backed away and fell to the ground.

⁷ So he asked them again, “Who are you looking for?”

They said, “Jesus from Nazareth.”^[b]

⁸ Jesus replied, “I told you that I am the one,^[c] so if you are looking for me, let these men go.”
